Spring/Floral Theme Chunky Book Page

A total of 17 pages were created for this project. Approximately 12 local artists participate in a project similar to this with varying themes every 4 to 6 weeks. A Chunky Book with a page from each participant is given to each artist.

  1. I love all these projects you find and get yourself involved with. And I love how you breathe live into them! This is something that I would want to carry with me so I could take it out and look at it during the day. It's so...tactile! And olfactory :)

Chunky Books are chunky. one of the requirements of a chunky book page is the attachment - or embellishing that goes with it. that of course is what makes a Chunky Book chunky. they are a lot of fun to page through because even when they are thematic each contributer has their own working methods and ideas, so there is a wide range of work in the pages.

    i like that this page creates a sense of scent for you. i like texture a lot in works of art - both 3-d and 2-d art - especially when it entices touching.
