It's fun to incorporate mystery and challenge into works. In some cases I use simple codes or other devises as compositional elements and to add a sense of mystery as well as visual intrigue that can be explored by a viewer.

This is the first of two postcards that are very similar. Both postcards use a simple code in the image. The key to the code is then written on the back of the postcard in the message or address area.

ReplyDeletelife is so full of mystery. i think we sometimes ignore that mystery just to get on with our day. yet when we explore the mystery... the entire day becomes a day of awe. . . cool, yes. cool on Billy Johnson's caved fossil heads too. i remember them from Wisp! way cool on that!
